Q for the #cycling #BikeTooter folks: What’s the best kind of paint for a bike?
Background: I have a 30 year old Raleigh Portage that has developed a few spots of rust that I’d like to take care of before they get serious. I figure this as good an opportunity as any to spruce the bike up (thinking orange and purple stripes). Bike shop will strip it down to the frame for me, so I’d just have to paint the bike and luggage racks.
Any advice from people who have painted their bikes?

What is everyone's most hated #OttBike intersection? I'm kind of blown away how bad Preston/PoW is. Once the construction is complete, perhaps it will be safer, but will the new layout stop drivers parking up in the crosswalk PoW?

I think the bike paths are going to be busy today, but we're getting out there too. Need to investigate this Nepean Trail that snakes along east of Merivale. Hadn't noticed the northern part of it before.

Alberta is taking a page from Doug Ford's Ontario by planning to introduce legislation to stop new bike lanes and rip out existing ones. Hey #ottbike, is there a good shop in Nepean area for bike cleanup?
I would like a good clean and lube of my chain and sprockets mostly, and don't really need another project to do myself.
Sawdust and grease prob aren't a good combo from working in the garage over the winter.

Didn’t even know this was a thing. Anyone try this yet #ottbike? We don’t normally travel with our charger, but this is a cool idea.
