Vancouver, you're not alone unfortunately. Toronto hasn't held a single open streets event since 2022 whether it was OpenStreetsTO (Bloor & Yonge) or the ActiveTO major road closures such as on Lake Shore West! These events are needed to encourage physical activity! #shame #BikeTO #BikeYVR #BikeSky

Well that is interesting.
There was a public shaming campaign against #Stantec engineering firm because of their contract with the Ontario government to destroy our bike lanes in Toronto. There was protests at their office downtown Toronto + an email campaign by #CycleToronto
I personally sent 2 emails to their Media person, Colin Nekolaichuk
Well within Cycle Toronto newsletter, we learn that they gave up on the majority of the project (!!) and will only deliver a small part

First time using the DuPont station bike racks. I have to look into these and if they were a really developed for the #TTC or if these are designed and made for industrial use.
They are poorly designed. Lower racks horribly ergonomic for anyone over 5' tall. Frustrating to use for any of the racks that isn't flush with the ground. Difficult to use upper level. The list goes on.

Are there bike share systems out in the world that allow under 18 to take out bikes (or scooters) independently?
It seems odd, in Canada at least that we alllow kids to drive by themselves at 16 but somehow BikeShare needs an adult to supervise.
