Interesting. Never heard about this. It does refer to resistance assassinated "protector" #Heydrich in #OperationAnthropoid. The price was high however. Two complete villages with all people were massacred, including women and kids. Have memorial at #Lidice and #Ležáky. But why not, U.S. are becoming oppressors fast. 27. května 1942; Gabčíka s Kubišem znáte, ale příběh mám mnoho „vedlejších“ postav.
„Často však lidé podlehli okupantům, někdy i touze po vlastním prospěchu a národní a občanské cti se zpronevěřili. Rozsoudit, kdy šlo o nevyhnutelný ústupek tlaku okupantů v zájmu prospět národní věci a postiženým spoluobčanům a kdy o selhání a kolaboraci, je velice těžké. Neumím to určit ani u Marie Jiřiny Navarové.“
