Interesting. Never heard about this. It does refer to resistance assassinated "protector" #Heydrich in #OperationAnthropoid. The price was high however. Two complete villages with all people were massacred, including women and kids. Have memorial at #Lidice and #Ležáky. But why not, U.S. are becoming oppressors fast. Two complete villages with all people were massacred, including women and kids. Have memorial at #Lidice and #Ležáky. But why not, U.S. are becoming oppressors fast. Gewaltexzesse nicht als Ausnahme sondern als Regel: Am 10. Juni 1942 ermorden deutsche Polizeikräfte in Lidice 173 Männer. 195 Frauen und 81 Kinder werden deportiert. Am 10. Juni 1944 ermordet die SS in Oradour-sur-Glane 642 Menschen und in Distomo 218 Menschen.

80 years ago Hitler ordered the extermination of 340 czechs including 82 children most of which through mass shooting and destruction of town Lidice to punish czech resistance for assasination of Reinhard Heydrich.
Today we watch Putin's forces mass shooting's of more than 1000 civilians in bucha, total destruction of mariupol an european city with population of 430 000, because they successfully defended their country against russian attack.
