Three riders of steel descended upon #occii in #amsterdam tonight. #dodentocht #Eremit and #nekus joined forces to promote #deathmetal and #deathdoom We were not super familiar with their material and now will have to correct that sad state of affairs. Highly recommended.

Ok… HOME FRONT from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, have been blasting out of everyone’s stereos for the past 3 years with their unique combination of THE CURE, BLITZ, EURYTHMICS, and SUICIDE wrapped up with modern production and tightly wound hooks. Unrelenting 2nd LP “Watch It Die” soars high and reaches deep with frayed punk edges wrapping around canonic pop luxury. A record about moving through life while acknowledging death, about humanity, rebirth, dreams and community — all powered by vintage drum machines, analogue synths and screaming guitars. A punk pop crossover treat like no other.

#witchclubsatan announced a last minute gig at #occii We were going to spend a quiet Saturday night but thought hey why not go and enjoy some punk/folk infused feminist #blackmetal Out of respect for the coven, we have way fewer photos than usual. We will just say this was an eye opening experience.

Op 28 september organiseert de OCCII een benefiet om de #krakers van het #Klokkenhof te helpen zich voor te bereiden op een rechtszaak en andere kosten.
Sinds mei 2024 is een substantieel aantal appartementen in Klokkenhof gekraakt. Er zijn veel huurders die het kraken steunen en begrijpen dat het een van de weinige instrumenten is die we moeten gebruiken tegen institutionele beleggers (hier #Vesteda) in een woninglandschap waarin de regering van dit land mensen decennialang massaal in de steek heeft gelaten.
Deze benefiet is georganiseerd om de krakers te helpen zich voor te bereiden op een rechtszaak en andere kosten.
