    If S251006dd turns out to be real / of astrophysical origin, it came from a coalescence of two black holes at a distance of around 2.3 billion light-years.

    The chirp mass is between 5.5 and 11 solar masses. This means, if both black holes have the same mass, they each weigh between 6 and 13 solar masses.

    The sky position could be determined to an area of about 100 square degrees.

    Wenn sich S251006dd als echt herausstellen sollte, stammt er von der Verschmelzung zweier Schwarzer Löcher in einer Entfernung von rund 2,3 Milliarden Lichtjahren.
