There's a brief update by @LIGO, Virgo, and KAGRA on the start of their next observing run.
The first intermediate run (IR1) is expected to begin early- to mid-November of 2026. It's duration is scheduled to be six months. The LIGO instruments will be slightly more sensitive than in the previous observing run O4. Virgo will join but with possible interruptions for maintenance and upgrade, and KAGRA will join later in the run as available.
You will find more information on our homepage: https://www.aei.mpg.de/gwastronomy

Sorry to anyone who has tried to access #gwchirp recently, but the SSL certificates expired and updating them got lost in my todo-list. Rest assured it has now been updated and available again at https://chirp.research.exeter.ac.uk/.
There's not been an awful lot to see of late, as the #Gravitationalwave network is mostly not actively observing, but we'll hopefully be ready to catch them when the new events start to pour in.
