There were two new probable gravitational-wave events in the past two days. If they are real, both came from mergers of binary black holes.
1️⃣ S251013x on 13 October at a distance of around 12 billion light-years. If the masses of the two black holes were equal, they were between around 25 and 100 solar masses. More info: https://gracedb.ligo.org/superevents/S251013x/view/

Es gab gestern und vorgestern jeweils ein neues Gravitationswellen-Ereignis. Beide stammen, wenn sie echt sind, von Verschmelzungen von Paaren Schwarzer Löcher.
