Incidentally, I like what I've seen so far of the updated #NRSV. I think I'll get one when it's out in large print (my eyes have decided that they are definitely middle aged now, so no 9-point font for me).

Story Time:
I taught kid's #SundaySchool yesterday & we talked about David & Goliath.
My #Bible translation (#NRSV) says Goliath was 6 cubits, with has a note saying other translations say 4. That puts Goliath between 6 & 9 feet tall.
I told my kids for comparison that Goliath would be about Shaq's height. Which then led to a rabbit hole of pics for my 11 year old of #Shaq side by side with other people.
Kids are fun.
