Skoro w cyklu poświęconemu historii sztuki w komiksie wkroczyłem już na obszar komiksu europejskiego, a niedawno był Norman Rockwell, to dziś połączę te dwa wątki.

Czyli: Norman Rockwell w komiksie europejskim. Tym razem włoskim. Hugona Pratta.

Po lewej: Norman Rockwell, "The Gossips", 1948.

Po prawej: "Corto Maltese", t. 1: "Una ballata del Mare Salato" (czyli swojska "Ballada o Słonym Morzu", 1967, scen., rys. i tusz Hugo Pratt.

Nie mam pod ręką skanu wersji czarno-białej w sensownej jakości, więc, niestety, jest kolorowa.

P.S. Serię "Corto Maltese" wydaje u nas Egmont Polska.

Znów przychodzę z historią sztuki w komiksie. Tym razem Norman Rockwell i Tim Sale.

Gdy jakiś czas temu odświeżyłem sobie miniserię "Superman na wszystkie pory roku" ("Superman For All Seasons") Jepha Loeba i Tima Sale'a, nie mogłem wyjść ze zdziwienia, jak rockwellowski jest jej pierwszy zeszyt (czego nie dostrzegłem przy pierwszej lekturze, lata temu).

A jak? Bardzo! Ale w sposób nienachalny. Z parafrazami, a nie dosłownymi cytatami. Piękna rzecz.

Póki co, bez wgłębiania się w temat, znalazłem w nim trzy parafrazy obrazów Rockwella, ale pewnie jest ich więcej. Będę musiał kiedyś nad nim bardziej przysiąść.

Ale jeśli Wy coś jeszcze dostrzegacie, to podzielcie się znaleziskami. Gdy będę robił blogowy wpis zbiorczy w temacie cyklu, to uczciwie Wasz wkład odnotuję.

W kolejności wyświetlania się ilustracji:
