I don’t want to complain today
I had a post sitting in my draft from yesterday that I decided not to post. I think I've been complaining a lot lately and the law of attraction says thats gonna make me notice more things to complain about. Some clever winemakers are being inventive. Here's a bottle of French dry white wine built from hybrid grape varieties that have better natural resistance to disease and mildew. (So no need for chemical treatments.)
The approach looks like (a) crossing a succesful modern grape variety with something older/more robust, (b) then creating innovative blends.
