I will probably read the novel some day. Scifi is virtually always better in written form; there's just so much you have to leave out to fit a story into a 2-hour movie. I think that's why many of the best scifi movies are based on short stories or perhaps novellas, rather than full-length novels.
On the subject of nitpicking: if the spaceship has magical engines to get it to near lightspeed, why would the crew have to travel in suspended animation/induced coma state? Time dilation would mean the trip was subjectively short, maybe just days or even hours, for everyone on board. Obviously I haven't seen it yet, so maybe that's addressed.

#Arduino und #Python verstehen sich scheinbar nur, wenn man bestimmte Arduinos benutzt, z.B. ESP32. Die meisten werden aber einen riesigen Bestand von Unos und Nanos R3 haben, die sie nur mit C++ programmieren können. Und Ihr schreibt Euch DAS auf die Fahnen und in Euren Newsticker? Mit einer weniger schroffen Attitüde würde die #Informatik leichter Einzug in #NIT halten. Ich bin jedenfalls schön demotiviert und muss es meiner Fachschaft dennoch schmackhaft machen.

An NIT Calicut student was suspended for what a public statement by NITC admin seems to term 'irresponsible behaviour'.
One would've thought that it was the right thing to do.
We should be actively opposing any attempt to divide people on basis of religion or whatever.
What the student who got suspended diid was responsible behaviour in that sense if you ask me.
