Any #wordpress #ninjas around?

I thought I know WP pretty well but it looks like... Not really.

Here's the issue:

Wordpress 6.8 running on PHP 8.0

- critical error when adding new post or page
- can edit existing posts no problem
- can't list media files. admin-ajax.php returns an array of 80 images, but nothing is displayed under Media tab

I found that the problem is in line 814 under /wp-admin/include/post.php - null object post. So I added an if (is_null($post)) and emoty post creation
