@paddydoublems “Reality Bites” is shown every year as part of the art museum’s “Films Houstonians Love” not as a flagship but b/c every year one of the guest programmers will select it as their film & audiences love it b/c it’s one of the best films to both be made & set here

I really wanted to work in a record store or at least Half Price Books when I was in high school. The closest I ever came was teaching guitar lessons in a back room at a record store

OMG I’m so fucking dumb.. I’ve been logging in & out of the NightFlight+ app & restarting my iPad trying to fix a “sound problem” with tonight’s feature presentation.. my fucking bluetooth headphones were connected to my iPad so of course I couldn’t hear anything 🙄🤬

I got into to Leonard Cohen as a poet first when I was in high school. I know a lot of people find his work “inconsistent” but I think writing-wise he hits more than he missed- and more than that, his misses usually have something interesting in the mix

@paddydoublems When I was in 5th & 6th grade I remember watching old VHS tapes of the early “Degrassi” series that my mother had taped off of PBS back when she was in college in the 80s. We now have the DVDs💕
