Kyōto Aquarium (京都水族館) sells a variety of frozen sweets, many inspired by many of the animals and fish within.

The aquarium nerikiri are sold frozen, and it takes about 2 hours for the sweets to thaw out (which is just about time to buy them first, enjoy the aquarium and then sit down for tea).
The seal is flavoured with sesame (黒ごまの大福) and the giant salamander with custard (カスタードの大福).

Because these traditional confections can easily be coloured, flavoured and shaped, they have become increasingly experimental🙌👏😋
