- before, the middle of the cover image & the title in large text
- now, like a quote post, with the poster's info & first few lines of small text. No title, no cover image.As perhaps the only person regularly posting NeoDB collections on Mastodon (& someone who has changed the design of NeoDB collection cover images for better preview on Mastodon), I'm not sure I approve! 😅

bookrastinating.com, the #BookWyrm instance I am on, has been down for two weeks now - with no indication whether the admin is still trying to fix it.
My last export of my BookWyrm data is from November 25th of 2025, which isn't too bad. Still, if the instance stays down I will have to consider whether I want to move to another BookWyrm instance - or to #NeoDB , which not only has data on books, but also on all kinds of other media.

Is there a way to disable auto-boost of titles watched on NeoDB? I linked my Mastodon account to my NeoDB account and everytime I list some titles as “completed” my post is automatically boosted by the linked Mastodon account.

On #NeoDB I added Silver Bullet (1985) to the #Monsterdon collection, & I edited it to improve the details, much of which were in Chinese (originally imported from Chinese media review site Douban).
But it meant I changed the writing credit from "The King of Horror" to just plain "Stephen King".
Technically correct, but I worry I made the world a slightly poorer place for it 😄
