Am I the last to find out that Road Rash on the N64 is really great!
Smooth, fun, fast, violent.
It has a bit of Need for Speed, too. The cops single out a particular racer and you breathe a sigh of relief when it's not you.

Work continues on the N64 core for the MISTer FPGA and I thought I would check it out.
Some of my favourite games run well, if a little glitchy in the between screens. Perhaps the corruption is to do with loading and unloading the memory addresses...
Anyway, I tested 1080 Snowboarding, Wave Race 64 and Wipeout 64 and they all gave me a good experience which bodes very well for the full release.
Super Mario 64 and Rogue Squadron did not work on first try. I'll put some more time and doco reading in later.
Perhaps I'll finally get around to finishing a Zelda game?
