  1. Spent a lot of time on refactoring the mutedeck.com landing page, making it less technical, more readable, and adding an animated video that explains #MuteDeck in a simple way.

This is my favorite frame of said video 😊

  2. When conf call software vendors start reaching out to see if they can make a custom #MuteDeck plugin - does that mean I've made it? 😅

  3. 🙌 Google just updated the #MuteDeck Chrome Extension to v1.4, which includes support for custom actions!

If you're on MuteDeck v2.0 and use Google Meet, be sure to upgrade to the v1.4 extension: chrome.google.com/webstore/det

  4. ✨ I just released #MuteDeck v2.0, and it has custom actions! Send any keyboard shortcut to your meeting from Stream Deck, Loupedeck, or TouchPortal

Examples: raise your hand, open chat, copy the invite link, and many, many more.

    Here's an explainer video: youtube.com/watch?v=n8wjfsRd_5

  5. Just got #Google Meet custom actions working and I'm over the 🌔 about how fast they work!

The #websocket connection between #MuteDeck and the Chrome extension makes all the difference:

  6. These #MuteDeck custom actions are going to propel conference call #automation a *lot* further. Here's an example where it starts a #Zoom meeting and copies the invite link in 1 #StreamDeck press with a multi-action:

    Coming soon! 😊

  7. Making some good progress on the custom actions/shortcuts for #MuteDeck. Trying to nail the #UI and #UX

    What do you think? 😊

  8. Now that the plugins have been published, I officially launched #MuteDeck v1.5 🥳

    🔸 #MicrosoftTeams Third-Party API support, with new actions: background blur, ✋, and reactions: 👏, ❤️, 😆, 👍, and 😮
🔹 Brand new Touch Portal plugin
    🔸 Chrome extension update

    All details: mutedeck.com/blog/2023/03/22/n

  9. I noticed that Microsoft Teams is finally rolling out their third-party #API support, so I released #MuteDeck v1.5 that enables direct communication with Teams!

When the Stream Deck and other plugins update this week, there's also a ton of new actions: reactions (like, applause, etc.), background blur toggle, and raise your hand.

How to set it up: mutedeck.com/help/docs/#set-up

I'll write a post with details early next week. Subscribe here, if you want to learn 😄 buff.ly/4016ykW

  10. New #MuteDeck update!

⚡️ v1.4.3 brings major improvements for speed and reliability, by checking only the apps you use.
🔸 Support for @Webex direct calls
🔹 Support for an upcoming #TouchPortal plugin

  11. During travel transit, I built a new help center for #MuteDeck! It'll let me organise help articles a lot better then a single page. More organization, better search. 👌

    Based on #vuepressjs!

  12. When #MicrosoftTeams doesn't have a shortcut to start or end a recording, life finds a way.

Life being user-interface scripting to click several menus in quick fashion, so you don't have to click them manually. 😜

  13. Added action notifications to #MuteDeck, showing which action was performed when you press a button.

    What do you think? 🤗

  14. Just sent out an email describing the new version (v4.0) of the #StreamDeck plugin for #MuteDeck that was released yesterday. Hint: custom icons!🤘

Read it here: mailchi.mp/872c79729549/custom (you can also subscribe there 🙂)

  15. I *finally* got a handle on #MuteDeck's integration for Microsoft #Teams. 🤘

It involves tricking Teams to build out its menu, because the devs of Teams don't render the entire app, unless you use it.

So, #MuteDeck simulates using all buttons with 1st detection. Now, macOS!
