  1. Bossa Nova completely changed the way I think about improvisation.

To me, it's like having a conversation: every phrase should naturally lead to the next, instead of repeating the same idea.

That's why I still love sitting at the piano and exploring its harmony and rhythm.

  5. Is your music cleared for licensing?

Syncs, ads, background placements = real money 💵—we’re talking thousands per track.

But if your music isn’t clean masters + PRO‑registered + properly tagged?
You might as well be invisible in the libraries.

    This is mailbox money.
Most artists let it slip by. Don’t be one of them.

Fast Company: Music giants begin negotiating AI licensing rights for labels and artists . “Sony Music, Warner Music, and Universal Music Group reportedly have begun talks with Suno and Udio, a pair of generative AI startups that allow users to compose new tracks. 10. @dlikdh

I have, but am currently doubting myself:

For my first couple of releases I used CC-BY-NC-SA.

What are the implications for playing my music publicly let's say on a for-profit radio station or venue?

Or what about someone remixing it and putting it up on #Bandcamp, even for just "Name your price"?

Is this actually permitted, or would it have been better to release as CC-BY-SA instead?

I'd love to hear thoughts by anyone who knows more!

  12. What a fantastic time I had on the podium last week in Studio 2 at #AbbeyRoadStudios, conducting some of my favorite musicians in the world for my next #AudioNetwork album!

I know I keep saying it, but every time I walk these hallowed walls I have to pinch myself and remember how lucky I am to even be able to enter the building. And then being able to create music together with some of the best studio musicians on this planet... it's just a gift!
