The nearby kitchen had tripe stew with pork knuckle yesterday, but since it's totally incompatible with my training I took it away to eat it today.

¿Sabían que las extrañas costumbres de Sam Puckett en internet terminaron convirtiéndose en las modas más ricas y populares de las plataformas privativas actuales?
Cuando empezamos a ver iCarly en el año 2007, el comportamiento de Sam frente a la cámara web nos parecía un chiste exagerado de la televisión. Ella se la pasaba comiendo alitas de pollo, costillas de cerdo y jamones enteros de forma salvaje en vivo, haciendo ruidos muy fuertes y hablando con la boca llena. Hoy en día, esa conducta se convirtió en un negocio millonario en plataformas como TikTok y YouTube, donde miles de creadores de contenido se graban comiendo cantidades industriales de comida frente a la pantalla en una moda originaria de Corea llamada Mukbang, o haciendo ruidos con los alimentos para videos de relajación conocidos como ASMR, demostrando que las glotonerías de Sam abrieron un camino que nadie vio venir.
Otro gran acierto del personaje fue adelantarse a la cultura de la crítica pesada en internet. En el programa web de la serie, a Sam le encantaba inventar secciones para burlarse de la gente, poner apodos y exponer las ridiculeces de los demás. En aquel entonces era solo una mala actitud de una adolescente, pero en la actualidad describe a la perfección a los canales de salseo, de reacción y de crítica que se dedican exclusivamente a hablar mal de otros influencers para ganar millones de visitas. Además, Sam siempre estaba en problemas porque la grababan peleando en la calle o portándose mal, y esos videos se subían a internet desatando debates sobre si debían sacarla del show, lo que retrata de forma exacta las polémicas y cancelaciones que sufren los streamers de Twitch y otras plataformas en 2026 cuando cometen errores en vivo.
La última gran coincidencia llegó en la serie Sam y Cat en el año 2013, donde las protagonistas mantenían un negocio de niñeras que controlaban por completo desde sus teléfonos celulares, recibiendo alertas de trabajo y resolviendo emergencias en tiempo real. Esta forma de ganar dinero se adelantó a lo que hoy conocemos como la economía de aplicaciones, donde la gente común busca empleos del día a día usando plataformas móviles para cuidar mascotas, repartir comida o llevar pasajeros. Es curioso, la forma de ser de Sam Puckett no era solo una caricatura, sino que de cierta forma se convirtió en el guion de cómo nos íbamos a comportar todos nosotros en la internet más adelante.
