Re: TIL: Grilled Cheese on the Foreman Grill

I let my hunger win and took the sandwich out of the Foreman grill before it got a really nice brown to it. I spread slices of butter on the two slices on the grill, then flipped the two slices, spread sliced half an avocado on the broad, and then sliced extra sharp cheddar from a Cabot cheddar block. Then put the two slices together, and closed the Foreman grill again.

Forgot that it was #linuxfestnorthwest this weekend. Well, couldn't afford to go this year. Hopefully next year when I have funds coming in and time to go.

Adding to my list of cooking experiments that worked this #toastietuesday ... grilled cheese in the oven! nonstick baking paper (on a baking sheet):

bread-cheese-tiiiiny layer yellow mustard-ham cheese-bread.... butter top and bottom

420F 5 min each side in oven (10m flip once). Perfectly crispy, all toasties are done at the same time... no standing around the stove, scales well (to size of your baking sheet).
