@urlyman Thorium Molten Salt Reactors, like China is having continued success with, provides high industrial level heat that's conducive to EV production. #TMSR also lends itself to #desalination, #SodiumIon batteries, #hydrogen and #ammonia production, medical isotopes, and even localized air conditioning because of high heat production in #MSR.

China's #BeltAndRoadInitiative is far more sustainable than most of the West's profit mongering.

The Mars Sample Return is shelved because the existing proposal was "too expensive"; yet, no other proposal by the (subsidized) space industry seems to be feasible; and because your favorite billionaire cannot do it at present, there will be no #MSR in the foreseeable future.

Sadly, it seems that nothing will be the same for the rover from now on. After #NASA ditched the Mars Sample Return (#MSR) mission, the #Mars2020 mission may now be forced to revise their plans, considering the possibility of further budgetary cuts, since the mission's end game is now cancelled.

So, Zeltgestänge von einem MSR Zelt repariert. Nach 6 Jahren waren die Gummischnüre am Ende.
Eigentlich müsste man die Zeltgestänge im zusammengebauten Zustand lagern. Denn zusammengelegt, ist der Gummi der Zeltstangen auf voller Spannung.

Zumindest weiß ich nun wie es geht und es braucht auch nicht das original Reparaturset.

Eine handelsübliches 3 mm Gummischnur funktioniert hier gut.
