I disagree with you. Revenue generating commercial platforms like The New York Times, #ABCnews, #MSNOW, and The New Yorker do and did provide plenty of important information. Trump's activities greatly reduced people's confidence in the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, and #CBSnews. People need reliable sources of information, including from Substack.
