Trying to donate to an Israeli organization giving food and other services to hospital patients. They gave my wife and I a warm meal while I was waiting to get a CT scan when I was in Jerusalem. They also gave out free coffee and cookies to people in the waiting room.
Benefits: Already pre-gematriated.
Cons: I don't speak Hebrew and they don't offer any other languages!

As we took our daily walk, we bumped into a neigbhbor whose garden we had passed a moment earlier.
I told her how pretty it is even in the dead of winter. She said, "I've been fortunate in finding a new gardener."
Then: "I was out walking and saw him on the street. I wondered if he were homeless, from the clothes he was wearing."

#Shavuot this year was a delightful season. It started a few days early with getting to lead a humanistic service that discussed the idea of the #Mitzvah of study, and then after that I got to attend most of #ShavuotLive (from the folks at #JudaismUnbound). And finally it all ended last night with a delightful outdoor Shavuot service at my local Reform temple, capped with them having an ice cream truck come by after services.The only thing I missed was getting to eat some fancy cheese.

I don't know if I qualify, but I can give my perspective (that might lead to more prayers or not):
I find myself integrating different practices, not because I find them meaningful, but to see if I can extract meaning from them. I started wearing my kippah semi-as a joke, but found significant meaning through wearing it. I didn't start by keeping kosher, but instead by trying to have different sets of dishes/silverware/cookware, and seeing if I got anything from it; I did, and the consciousness of the activities made it harder to not keep kosher.
One of the big things that sets Judaism apart, I learned after some study on this, was that we aren't supposed to do the mitzvot for a reason (though, reasons there may be, Shabbat being a stark example). Instead, we are commanded simply to do them, and then to see what meaning it brings to us.
I am going to be trying my tefillin again (which have been unused for a decade) with this in mind.

Rabbi Shimon ben Pazi said that Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi said in the name of bar Kappara: Anyone who knows how to calculate astronomical seasons and the movement of constellations and does not do so, the verse says about him: “They do not take notice of the work of God, and they do not see His handiwork” (Isaiah 5:12).And Rabbi Shmuel bar Naḥmani said that Rabbi Yoḥanan said: From where is it derived that there is a mitzva incumbent upon a person to calculate astronomical seasons and the movement of constellations? As it was stated: “And you shall guard and perform, for it is your wisdom and understanding in the eyes of the nations” (Deuteronomy 4:6).
What wisdom and understanding is there in the Torah that is in the eyes of the nations, i.e., appreciated and recognized by all? You must say: This is the calculation of astronomical seasons and the movement of constellations ...Shabbat 75a

My rabbi is a good guy, and well suited to our community, but lately he's on a musar (ethics) kick, and he has this shtick about how sometimes the pendulum of Jewish life swings toward fussy doing of mitzvot with great exactitude, and then every time that happens another movement comes along and swings things back toward the ethical questions...
Well, not to complain, but I hate the way everyone nods enthusiastically about how ethics are so self-evidently more important than, you know, actually just doing mitzvot, even mitzvot that aren't literally and specifically about tikun olam or self-improvement in service of world-improvement.
As Y. Leibowitz famously said, approximately, "if HaShem commanded me to daven by reading the telephone book every day, instead of the siddur, I'd pray by reading the telephone book."
I like nothing so much as a mitzvah that has no obvious meaning. Meaning just gets in the way.

About #converting to #Judaism: Judaism is not a religion, it is a #kehillah (tribe/family.) One can't "identify" as a Jew. One must go through #gerut ("conversion) to Judaism by
1. A course of study with a rabbi & Jewish teachers
2. Fulfilling the #mitzvah of #tevilah (immersion in a mikveh)
