However it is an impressive work. The amount of research the author has carried out is stunning, as she covered almost a century of Korean immigration in Japan and beyond.
Every story is realistic. The only unconvincing plot development concerns Noah, IMHO.

Me ha gustado bastante para lo que a priori podía llegar a pensar que podía disfrutar la historia de una saga familiar coreana 😄 Estaba preparado para que fuera un ladrillo y no lo ha sido para nada.
Mola mucho como la trama sirve para contar los periplos del pueblo coreano desde la dominación japonesa hasta casi final de siglo (tema del que no tenía ni pajolera idea), lo hace muy accesible e interesante (de verdad 😆)
He disfrutado sobre todo la primera parte, donde se centra en la vida de una madre e hija fuertes y abnegadas sobreviviendo en un mundo machista y lleno de privaciones. Muy crudo y cercano. En la última parte, con las generaciones más jóvenes, hay un cambio de tono que se me ha empezado a hacer un poco bola, pero en general está bastante guay.
A ver qué leo para desintoxicar un poco de los chismes familiares 🙂
