BLOG POST ANNIVERSARY: 8 years ago I sent my English language students to the Amazon jungle for some black ops tactical work. They were taken prisoners and this was their escape from the adversary's lair.

My EE6 students played #MiniSix #ttrpg as Doom Agents sent from New York City to London to rescue an abducted girl.

They borrow a Lear Jet, were attacked by a missile over the Atlantic and is unable to locate their contact in London. An assassin attacks them while sleeping in a hotel. They defeat her, get intel on the girl's location.

A sniper waits for them but is killed quickly. The warehouse is rigged with a bomb. It blows up but they survive.

The girl had been moved!

Today's meeting with the other facilitators to plan the #ttrpg programme tomorrow with a local secondary school, a class of First Formers. I'll be GMing using #MiniSix.

The teacher said the students would like some magic and spellcasting.

Will be taking photos tomorrow.

I've been thinking about rpg systems to play this. I like the idea of using Mini Six, the author seems on point.

I enjoy the D6 system clones. I built a spell building spreadsheet for Open D6 and published a variant Fantasy SRD based on it..

I still use the old D6 spell building spreadsheet for 'weird magic' in my various games. The 'Speed' part of the spell builder allows for spell effects that creep slowly towards the target.

I've been reading bits of the D6 game systems and thinking about running an Urban Fantasy (basically Urban Arcana) with it. I like the Mini Six rules the most right now since it simplifies a lot of the system, but if I kind of like the Magic System presented in D6 Adventure with the complicated framework for building new spells.

I'll have to let it roll around in my head more.
