  1. Happy Tuesday and all that: Apologies for lack of content, we have been working hard to fulfil orders and fight fires so here is a firefighting #MiniMoke. Might need it next weekend? - miniphernalia.co.uk

  2. @frogglin @John i am tempted to buy a silly car atm. I've always wanted a #MiniMoke. But I had a look on a car sales website to see what they go for - $50k!!!! I nearly fell over.

  3. Britain Britain Brian - Dunno who she is but they are sat in a very patriotic #MiniMoke with Mini passing behind. It’s good to be patriotic without smashing windows without a vest on. Goof afternoon - miniphernalia.co.uk

  4. A one owner car, whose owner is in the nineties now and finally decided to part with it. Runs well, needs a little cleaning up. Great little car!

  5. @davidwilkins I remember being told in the ‘80s that there was one year (in the ‘70s) when the #MiniMoke was the biggest cause of death of British Royal Navy sailors overseas, such was their prevalence and popularity in foreign ports, where sailors may have had a bit too much alcohol…

  6. @davidwilkins for those who may not know this already, the #MiniMoke is being made and sold new in Florida 🇺🇸 — for $23,000 +tax etc. before options — as an electric vehicle. More of a golf cart than a true EV, perhaps.

    Top speed: 25 mph
    Range: 40 miles
    Charge time: 8 hours
    Battery technology: AGM

Not sure what the licensing agreement might be, if there is one.

No roof, no doors, no windows, no worries... In June 2000, Tony Davies took a look at how a British army reject became a cult classic.

  8. One of our adventures 40+ years ago. Travelled from Townsville to Melbourne, then Melbourne to Perth WA in this mini moke, such a blast! Literally a blast and gushes of wind as the moke had no doors or windows. There was Ian, myself, a friend and large German Shepard, we drove through bushfires down the east coast and broke down of the Nullabor. We made it to Perth scorched and a bit haggard, stayed for a few months and then drove the moke back to Melbourne. #minimoke #travel #Nullabor
