@sjn @senficon I don't appreciate Microsoft placing itself as the glorious steward of Open Source in front of decision makers one tiny bit.
It is their way to cement further corporate influence and rob true Open Source representatives of their voice. But you just don't care. It is what we got. 🤷♂️
How does Microsoft even DARE to dress up and do that dance? Because people buy it. Because they bought Github. Playing into the gullibility of people still not understanding #Micrososft is #Github
You support sweet buzzwords in empty keynotes.
I'm appalled by a corporation mimicking honest participation while working actively against everything it praises. I guess I just can't ignore the hypocrisy - no matter how pretty it turned out.

In unrelated news, Microsoft is asking Microsoft Windows users to uninstall a recent Microsoft Windows update, issued and published by Microsoft, because said update is breaking Microsoft Windows.

Na was anderes wäre auch völlig verrückt, nachdem #micrososft dem Chef des IGH den Mailzugang abgedreht hat.
Mal sehen wann die (Schimpfwort einsetzen) der @Bundesregierung das begreifen.

Microsoft will offer a chance to pay for extended security updates for Windows 10 for up to 3 years after it reaches end of support on Oct 14, 2025, but the company is really pushing upgrades to Win 11 (or new PC purchases) instead. https://buff.ly/3uNp2ur #Windows10 #SecurityUpdates #Micrososft

"Microsoft signs 1.5m seat contract for Office 365 and more"
The new contract means that the #NHS in #England will be paying £100 for each installation of #Micrososft #Office365, when consumers pay £60 a year. That's quite a markup for corporate incompetence.
The NHS could of course reduce the bill considerably by switching to #OpenSource software such as #LibreOffice.
