Today I finally beat Metroid Prime Remastered for the first time.

It took me over 36h, which is largely because I took a long break (twice) in between and didn't take notes until quite late in the game.

The other mistake I made was that I noticed I was already at 88% items on my own and decided to go for 100% to see the best ending. Without prior noted this was a grind an the ending did not make up for it.

Good game otherwise.

I've finally decided to give up on trying to like Metroid Prime 1 (Wii Trilogy version) after 3 hours of playtime.

Main reason is the movement. I think it's just too slow which might have been fine if it's a linear game because I do like exploring new areas but it isn't.

Every time I'm done with a path and now have to traverse through previous areas while trying figure out where to go next, the fun just stops.

@irgndsondepp after this boss I unlocked the Phazon suit, which is the last obligatory upgrade in the game.

After that. I pretty much just collected the artifacts I was missing...

And then Meta Ridley showed up

This fight killed me three times but it wasn't too bad!

Something neat I've noticed in Metroid Prime is that, because the Wavebuster chews through missiles like my cat chews through toilet paper, the room you have to go through to *get* the Wavebuster requires you to come in with a ton of missiles. It's making sure that you won't get the upgrade in the first place unless you have enough missiles for it to be somewhat useful.

Also I keep my bathroom door closed.

I'll always favor the last version rather than the first in #MetroidPrime.

The first looks like somebody good the thing right, but is too oversized.

The one in Metroid Prime looks like someone is on the suit, like someone made the ultimate cosplay.
