Extensive snowfall over Scotland and Wales but also over the NW Midlands, East Anglia and a narrow swathe from Gloucestershire to Sussex.

Nice capture from this afternoon’s #MeteorM2_4 pass showing the huge area of low pressure that has brought an end to the anticyclonic gloom that has plagued the UK for the past 10 days!

This image captured from #MeteorM2_4 shows how extensive the cloud has been across the southern half of the UK this afternoon. This low cloud is trapped under a warm layer inversion beneath high pressure.
