Out of curiosity: What are some of the reasons? #MuseScore is totally popular amongst my peers; I myself struggled with some quirks of the UI, which are implemented more elegantly in other (proprietary 🙁) software.Do you need it for music production, digital encoding or beautiful typesetting?
For typesetting: definitely look at #Lilypond (and its frontend Frescobaldi)
