    While the extinct #megapode is the same weight and a little bit taller than the American wild #turkey that might have been on your table today, it is 4 times the size of Australia's extant brushturkeys. And strong muscle attachments on its wing bones suggest that this bird-unlike turkeys of either continent-was able to fly.
