My next roll of HP5+ at 400 was devved in Adox HC-110 dilution E (1+47). The negs look very thin and there's lots of grain. #MDC suggests 7.5 minutes for Kodak HC-110; I used 8 minutes. I note that Ilfotec HC times are 9 minutes for 1+47. All at 20C.
I'm wondering if the temperature dropped too fast, and also that Stop & Fix were too far below 20C?
I'm also unreasonably suspicious of the Adox HC-110, after good results with my 2018 bottle of Kodak HC-110!

Loaded a roll of #StreetCandy ATM 400 with a red filter. Hoping to use HC-110 E, did a G$$ search. The artificial stupidity summary said "use the HC-110 Dilution B time of about 6.5 mis @ 20°C. While Dilution E is also a viable option that can produce sharpness and moderate grain, a time of approximately 7-10 mins is recommended, this Reddit post notes." The Reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/AnalogCommunity/comments/gwics5/first_time_developing_bw_with_hc110_using/) is about under-exposed Tri-X!!!
#MDC says 7.5 for IlfoTec HC. I'm thinking maybe 10 for HC-110 E?

The Missouri Conservation Dept seedling sales opened today. I placed our order at 4:15am this morning. As of an hour ago about a dozen things had sold out already, one of which I ordered. I'm excited to get them next March. We got 35 seedlings total for us and two others.
We will have several extra black walnut trees seedlings if anyone in the area is interested, let me know.
