This fest features a variety of strong beers and ciders, perfectly suited for the winter months, from a number of McMenamins breweries (including several collaborations from OSF and Bend-area breweries) and others.

One thing I love about #McMenamins? Multiple breweries! So when a seasonal #CraftBeer recipe like Thundercone #FreshHop ale is brewed, you can try different versions! This year uses Simcoe hops from #SodbusterFarms. The #OldStFrancisSchool version (draft) has grassy aroma, dank candied grapefruit peel, some mint. The #Edgefield's (can) gives tropical fruit, hay, squash, bitter cucumber, stone fruit. The #AndersonSchool's (draft) is floral, dank, grassy, with red clover, dandelion, black tea.

Happy #StPatricksDay! It's been a gorgeous weekend and I've been enjoying a variety of #StPaddys themed Irish styled beers, including the classic #GuinnessStout, along with brews from #VanguardBrewing, #SullivanBrewing, and #McMenamins. Those Guinness Rich Chili chips are really good, too. Slainte!

I really enjoyed the Pau Hana Gold #lager I picked up from #McMenamins #KalamaHarborLodge last weekend. This was the first #beer brewed at that location when it opened in 2018, and I found it crisp, moderately hoppy, and easy drinking, so of course I had to bring a #growler home. Cheers!

Happy #StPatricksDay! As always I had to start off with a #Guinness Draught Stout, before enjoying a #LeftHandBrewing Milk Stout Nitro and a #McMenamins Nitro Irish Stout. All of these are nitrogenated, of course! I hope everyone is having a safe and fun #StPaddysDay and has a great weekend!
