Mastodon, no offense, but I have to admit, I'm slightly disappointed 😬

For a while the Mastodon website was nice and stable on my tablet.
But now the Mastodon tab reloads and blanks my composing a post/reply if I go to another tab to get info.
And the clickable area on posts for account-holder is now getting clicked far too often when I'm trying to click on the post.
Interface UX decreasing.

A problem for me on Mastodon has been creating Lists that curate a specific kind of topic rather than by-personality.
If I list a climate scientist they post pictures of their cats.
If I list a photographer, their photos sit amongst posts about putting the kettle on.
Is there a way to improve the signal-to-noise ratio? A way to make a List only pull through posts from listed accounts that contain specific topic hashtags?
