    I’m re-reading some key research on Twitter from a few years back (right now on Ash (2016) languageatinternet.org/article) and OF COURSE all the observations are a lot more applicable to Mastodon than to Twitter now in algo age.

    Makes me itch to do a Mastodon study, but then I start thinking over the logistics of getting permissions and setting up a new data collection pipeline and my enthusiasm vanes somewhat
