The #MassRMV thinks that all trailers are commercial, so they hit them hard with fees. Thus you want to make sure your RV is registered as a camper (which they call an Auto Home)
I pay more to register my small utility trailer than anything else in my fleet, including the cars with vanity plates.

I escaped eventually. It ended up being a very #MassRMV experience where I had to lead the counter person through the perfectly-legal but slightly-unusual thing I was doing.

But wait, there's more! This is what I see when I get to the page where I'm supposed to enter my credit card details.
Notice what's missing from the page? Yup, the text fields for me to enter the credit card details!
I tried this in both Firefox and Chrome with the same results. I also tried it a brand new Firefox profile to rule out my cache or extensions.
I did finally figure it out: this is yet another site which silently fails when you try to use it through a #VPN. 😡

The silliness continues. They've disabled paste on the "Confirm Email Address" field, so I couldn't paste the email address they wanted from my password manager where it is stored securely. Fortunately I was able to surmount that barrier quickly with the "Don't Fuck With Paste" browser extension.

Someone please explain to me the circumstances under which I would be trying to make a payment of more than $999,999 to the Massachusetts RMV on their registration renewal page.
