And page 2 ready! Did a change on page 1 too that marginally improves storytelling!
The story progresses and something unexpected will happen soon!
(I can't believe I'm trying to sell a feel-good slice-of-life story as something exciting xD)

Another practice drawing. I used a reference for this.
Drawing faces in different angles is definitely one of my weak points. That's why I rarely use different angles in my manga. But I try my best to change that.
Even if the face looks wrong sometimes, I think varying angles can still bring the characters more to life.

#mastoart #mangaart #manga #drawing community and everyone else out there! Do these hairstyle seem to have volume and flow?
I honestly will not feel crap or anything bad if anyone says "nope. They look horrible". I'm actually trying to figure out how to give them more life and improve my hair drawing skills! :)
From today's ArtShare on BlueSky 💙 I hope the FediVerse enjoys too ☺️

Final version of the pose! Inked up and ready to go!
I am now positive that this is 100% Rid the main character of #Antumbra!
Inked it using a Kuretake fine brush pen and some uni 03 pigment ink pen. For values I also added some pencil!
Whoever wants to can leave a comment as to what kind of person(ality) they think he is.
Sidenote: The dedicated page is from from over, so stay tuned for more of this dude! :)

Mattia in the Corridor
I am still out of commission, dealing with some pains, but I wanted to show this art of Mattia! I call it Mattia in the Corridor.
Mattia is Alessio’s son and Rin’s grandson. His brother is Naitoti, his older brother is Lemuria, and his twin sister is Edvige.
The three of them rule over a new earth-like planet’s colony, and will soon implement a democratic leadership while serving as guidance.
On this planet, Ashuton, Rin and Alessio have entered a stasis and are resting within a great tree that connects the lifelines of the planet.
Lemuria spends his time on earth away from them all, electing to stay with his father until he (Alessio) ends up on that planet.

Wyrmscourge – City Streets
This illustration shows what the city streets of Wyrmscourge looked like. This is sometime during Anerlain’s era as Queen. It’s more modern than the past era’s archaic castle-cities.

Seraphina cradles her killer son
These two pieces of art were made in 2020 or 2021. It’s Seraphina, cradling her serial killer son, Clauson, after she attempted to kill him for his crimes.
She knocked him out with tea and was about to drive a knife into his heart and across his throat, but…
She just couldn’t do it. Despite his actions, he was her little baby. She would rather the courts imprison him than carry out his execution like they wanted.
(These people are dragon shifters btw)

And tonight having finished with the commission for my flatmate I went back to my own projects and specifically #Antumbra MC, Rid.
I hope I depict his character and composure clearly.
Looking forward to see how the end page will look like! Stay tuned!

🌸~ Breathe ~ 🌸 I've been checking back through older artwork to see what I hadn't posted. Here's another random elven princess I drew back in 2023. (I rarely title my artwork because I am rubbish at it ^^')

The plan was to do only a few simple sketches of Eleanor, but ... I couldn't stop at the sketch stage. I just had so much fun drawing her! 😊
I'll try to do only sketches tomorrow. 😅
