Despite being overexposed by quite a bit, I was able to pull something out of this shot. Cropped and adjusted slightly with a bit of masking in the sky. Probably would’ve been much better had I metered.

My first attempt at #Sunny16 this weekend appears to have been…sub-optimal. And to think the entire time I was worried about underexposing, which is what likely led me to overexpose.

Assuming the focus is calibrated decently on the rangefinder, I believe I will be taking this #Mamiya6 folder as a second camera to Scotland later this month. I’ll likely use my phone’s metering app. All else will be on the #NikonZ5ii

In all the many, many years I've been buying cameras and camera parts, this is definitely the smallest. It's an eyepiece diopter for my Mamiya 6 camera that helps with focussing and seeing the information in the viewfinder. Came all the way from Japan in two days!

My entire Mamiya 6 family is back from the service centre in Quebec. Got a complete overhaul on everything. The lenses feel brand new again, all three lenses were focus-calibrated to the body and match. Very happy! Can't wait to get it back in action.

There's not much to look at when the fog rolls into Halifax harbour. I'd recommend a little quiet contemplation but the thick fog means lots of fog horns from the ferry and commercial traffic. Makes for a nice quiet B&W photo though.

I do enjoy a good alignment of unrelated items, particularly when they're totally unrelated. Now if the person who took enough care to align the bike rack had moved it a little further away from the wall so a bike tire could fit in there we'd be set.
