Continuing the #MacProProject #DIY all the L-Bracket bracing around the shelf wasn’t stopping a bit of sag in the middle at the front, so a more drastic solution was required. Slotted steel channel screwed to the underside of the shelf’s front lip to prevent flex, and then two more L-Brackets screwed through the channel to transfer the load to the sides of the cupboard. If that doesn’t solve it, I’m out of ideas :p

I’m in the process of migrating my primary computer from a much-hotrodded 2009 Xeon #MacPro running #HighSierra to a 2019 Xeon Mac Pro running #Ventura.
It’s a wonderful machine, though not without flaws. Seriously, what idiot decided the running lights wouldn’t reflect sleep status?
I’ll keep updating this #MacProProject journey with observations as they happen, some of it will be hardware, many about software.
