  1. Sometimes ponder if running the @m5stack #m5atom wardriver is worth it, such a tiny device, teeny built-in antenna, sub-optimal placement in each car.

Then you upload a months worth of data from two cars other people drive and bingo, another 1,000 APs you’d have never seen.

    #allTheWifi a dozen at a time counts!

    #wardrive @WiGLEnet

  2. Reasonable gearing for #wwwd #allTheWifi @WiGLEnet

Oh yeah, there’s another original JHewitt with dual external antennas in the trunk and an #M5Atom on the dash.

  3. My PCBs arrived! I ordered 20 and I got 33? Weird. It's like they had some spare space on a panel and just scattered a few around at random?

These are breakout boards for the little ESP32-containing modules I use for various projects. I got tired of mounting them on veroboard. You can buy very similar breakout boards from the manufacturer, but these are simpler and cheaper.

  4. Got my #M5Stack #M5Dial #ESP32 controller in the mail yesterday - already have #batman on it, printed a holder for it, and using #ESPNow and #RFID to control my #M5Atom #robot
This is going to be a fun device to play around with. I'm already thinking about lighting control, access control, and more.
The Batman picture was made for the #M5StickC but was very easy to update for the Dial - really just changed the library from M5StickC.h to M5Dial.h - easy.

  5. I put #micropython on one of my #M5Atom #ESP32 devices - just to see and play with it a bit.
I used the new #Arduino IDE for python - And I still don't like #python - I will use it when I have to but, it's not for me. I also know it's going to be the future - so I will just have to be stuck in my ways.

It did work thou, and I was able to get the #ws2812 demo working on the Atom - without too much problem - it didn't like the idents for the first for statement thou?
