It’s Friday and I’m glad. This week was mostly writing assessments, now submitted. I also prepared my music for Sunday’s event. Went out for lunch with Hubby for the first time in a while. I had veal scaloppini with creamy mash potatoes and salad; he had rissoles with mash and veg. Dessert was ice cream with chocolate topping for me, pavlova for him. Tomorrow is self-care day — planning to soak up the sun outdoors. #FridayFeeling #WritingLife #MusicPrep #LunchDate #Foodie #SelfCare #Sunshine

My husband has been having a rough time at his job. He’s had to work a lot of overtime, including today. He’s on his way home. I decided to treat him to one of his favorite restaurants, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, when he gets home in a few minutes. We find it more enjoyable to eat at home while watching stuff on our smart TV, so we’ll just be grabbing it to go instead of dining in. I am going to grab some alcohol for us, too. My husband and I are not heavy drinkers, so we will probably get Mike’s Hard Lemonade. I can’t stand gin or whiskey.
