Last Thursday, at a Lunch & Learn meeting with Redis and SoftwareMill, we explored the potential of the world’s fastest in-memory database.
It was an amazing opportunity to discuss Redis possibilities and network! Big thanks to our Staff Software Engineer Michał Ostruszka, who shared insights on the Early Detection of Service Abuse with Redis, showcasing strategies for secure and efficient systems!

Je vous partage le lien vers la page des événements "Disaster Rounds", une initiative organisée par l'Alberta Health System (AHS) pour favoriser l'échange et l'apprentissage.
J'apprécie énormément ces présentations, car elles offrent une occasion unique de découvrir les pratiques et les initiatives menées ailleurs au Canada, tout en ouvrant la voie à des possibilités d'amélioration.
Ces événements sont gratuits et incroyablement instructifs ! De plus, les enregistrements des présentations passées sont disponibles en libre écoute, constituant ainsi une précieuse ressource.
Les "Disaster Rounds" sont des événements éducatifs récurrents de type "lunch & learn", au cours desquels des leaders médicaux, des responsables opérationnels et des experts venant de partout au Canada partagent leurs connaissances et leur expertise sur les catastrophes en lien avec le système de santé et leur gestion.
Il va sans dire que les projets de @VE2ATU qui seront prochainement annoncés apportent encore plus d'intérêt pour moi, particulièrement la présentation prévue le 15 mai prochain.

It happens in the huge Big Tech companies with tens or hundreds of thousands of employees. It happens in almost any tech shop with even a handful of people.
It goes by many different names.
It is ... the "brown-bag session".
Sometimes called a "lunch-and-learn" session.
And although widely practiced, it is #abusive, and it is #corrosive to employee #morale. It probably contributes a non-negligible amount to employee #turnover, but it isn't studied.
