For me this crosses over into Halloween spooky territory. Giant monsters like Godzilla don't necessarily feel like Halloween, and straight science fiction doesn't, either, but this one crosses over into Halloween because it's a bat-devil sort of creature, and it has a camp-absurd factor. I love science fiction - supernatural horror crossover. Space ghosts 🤣

there are a bunch of covers for this magazine online, so good. I don't speak German but I'd take a stab at this: Blood Rain. That's not good! I love the eyes of those weird sharks, they look insane. The lizard people look like the type to poke tridents at you for fun. The horror! 🤣

El Museo Municipal de #fuengirola acoge estos días la exposición sobre la vida y obra de Mark Ryder, principal representante del lowbrow, un arte nacido en los años 70 del pasado siglo que surge como subcultura de estilos como el hippy o el punk. El lowbrow mezcla corrientes como el dadaísmo, el surrealismo o el pop, e influencias de todo tipo como el cómic, el arte religioso, los juguetes, el arte urbano o la ciencia ficción (una de las portadas musicales más famosas de género lowbrow es la de “Dangerous” de Michael Jackson). Además de ejemplos del arte de Ryder, podemos encontrar ilustraciones de dibujantes e ilustradores como R.K. Sloane y Robert Williams, entre otros.

At what age are farts the funniest?
There still may be a bit of embassment and social taboo kindergarten through 2nd grade.
I’m going to say worldliness and experience, ego and boldness are going to place things in grades 3, 4, 5, or 6, Body humor might increase until near puberty but sophistication, social concerns might bring social propriety back into reign soon.
Boost for exposure. Full week survey. Age by Elementary grade level. If other, feel free to comment your answer

Yesterday my Western Art #Music class had a lovely discussion about #highbrow #middlebrow and #lowbrow culture. They decided that the categories were artifacts of a different culture; that technologies of access nowadays render that structure obsolete. That the 20th century had backwards and Eurocentric notions of privilege and “the intellectual” in music, and that “niche” was a fairer category than “highbrow”
The class remained divided on whether Taylor Swift could be considered highbrow :-)
