I waited until 5pm (EST, USA) to post this. At 9:30 a.m., as seen in the previous post, the #LonelyCheeto was in its sad little place, greeting me with its bit of artificial brightness in the dark stairwell.
At 2:00 pm...
Whoever the monster is who removed it, couldn't they at least have let us reach 30 days? Why should I even go to work anymore?*
(*TBF, I ask myself that a lot)

9:20 a.m., day 28.
Oh Iaaiiiaaaahhaaa aaaaahhheeeaaauy I'm still aliiiive -
Day 27! Oh no, now I'm thinking of the 27 club or whatever. Hang in there, little cheeto!
-
Okay, NOW I can post today's update.
IT IS STILL THERE.
This is day... what... (counts on fingers)... DAY 22?!
-
The fuck? Did this post? I did it on 11/21... maybe it posted. It's sitting here, editable, like some kind of draft. Anyway, here it is, from way back a week ago.
Day 15 (November 21): I gave myself a scare! I dropped by the office to check on the #LonelyCheeto and it wasn't there! (2nd pic). However, after my heart rate went back to normal I realized I was on the wrong floor. It's still there! WHY?! I am cheering for it, but how in the blazes is Maintenance missing it every day? For two weeks?
I am carefully not telling anyone at my place of employment about the cheeto. I don't look directly at it if there is anyone else in the stairway; I don't want to draw attention to it. But everyone must look at it every time they go up or down the stairs. It's right there. And it's bright orange.

Day 14 (November 20). Cheeto is still standing.
-
Day 13 (today, Nov. 19). The #LonelyCheeto is still there and still lonely.
-
Day 12 (Nov. 18, today): The #LonelyCheeto Abides
(I feel better about wasting a hashtag on this, realizing it's been 12 days).
(I also had to edit this post because I got the date wrong at first)Note: I noticed the cheeto on Nov. 7 (or possibly a couple of days before... memory is hazy). I started taking pics to see how long it would remain in the stairwell, despite hundreds of humans passing by every day. I decided to wait on posting the pics until it had been there at least a week.
Hm, hashtags... okay. I will make some questionable choices, here, in a shameless bid for others to see the cheeto.

Day 7 (Nov. 13): #LonelyCheeto still there. Holding strong.
-
Day 6 (11/12). #LonelyCheeto is still there.
Realizing I even hate the word "cheeto" now because it's associated with the asshat-in-chief. -
Four days later, after the weekend, the #LonelyCheeto was still there. I made a hashtag, which is going to be kind of embarrassing if Maintenance cleans it up tomorrow.
Day 5 (Nov. 11)
