I am recalibrating the list of people I look up to - I have come across so many people recently, as part of local relief efforts, who are quickly replacing the ones in my list.

These are just ordinary folks who are driven by a need to help and care for their fellow human beings - and it doesn't matter a wee bit if this is someone they know, if this person comes from a particular state, if they belong to a particular religion and so on....

Spoilt food is being to colonies around Delhi. The website for e-coupons is permanently down, so no dry ration either.
It happened this afternoon too at Rajasthani Camp near Sarita Vihar.

Number of books read : None and I will tell you why it doesn’t matter.
Number of hungry people fed each day last week : 20K+
No of hours of sleep each day : < 5
Feeling : Dead tired but glad that I am helping

If all the people we managed to feed today line up in a queue, maintaining a distance of 1 meter between themselves, the line would go from IFFCO Chowk to somewhere in Connaught Place. #justsaying

This is the UP-Delhi Border AnandVihar bus stand today.

Pvt buses are running by charging the poor Rs 500 for rooftop, Rs 1000 for sitting inside from Delhi-Lucknow. UP Police is stopping pvt buses, offloading ppl and they end up losing the money they paid
