Libraries hold a special place in my heart, for reasons both intellectual and sentimental.
Librarians are guardians of knowledge, champions of freedom, and friends of the people. They are community members, dedicated to helping connect poor people with relevant information, so they can improve their minds, educate themselves, and access job resources.
After I became a #whistleblower in 2023, and was made #homeless , this notion was challenged.
Librarians would block my access, call the police, and have me arrested. If you find this hard to believe, please see my whistleblower website. The PDF linked, has an appendix giving the “receipts” ( documents to corroborate my account ).

I had applied to be a board member of the libraries in Hawai’i after attending their meetings, and saw some corruption there.
Scroll to the bottom of this page, and see the photo of the board members. How many native Hawai’ian faces do you see? Any Japanese or brown folks?
https://folkhawaii.com/about-us/
Their former Director of Membership, Bobby Gebbia, lied in court, before the judge and cameras, saying I was a board member, though I was not granted a membership.
In Hawai’i, librarians appear to be part of the occupying forces, whitewashing colonialism, insidiously taking over and erasing the true history of Hawai’i, which I heard from talking to local old timers.
250 years ago, Hawai’i had not heard of Jesus, and had its own deities, ( Goddess Pele, the creator, Kaneloa, etc. )
Then Captain James Cook invaded, and 90% of the natives were wiped out. Then Samson Dole attacked with soldiers, threw out the natives, turned their land into plantations, and turned the natives into day laborers on the plantation, on their own land.
Contrary to popular belief, Hawai’i is not a part of the USA, but a belligerently occupied territory,
1887-1897: Hawaiʻi Rebelled against the USA.
Hawaiʻian people did not choose to be part of the USA.
King David Kalākaua was forced to sign what is called the "Bayonet Constitution". Queen Liliuokalani asserted that Kalākaua's life was threatened: "He signed that constitution under absolute compulsion."Now Hawai’i is full of churches, their own gods are vanishing from memory, thanks to the “librarians”. There’s poverty, a drug epidemic, and seething discontent on the streets. Hawai’ian people are heavily overpoliced, thrown into jail without cause, and denied #justice in the #courts of the occupiers ( #USA ).
All this is hidden from the casual tourist, content to visit a golf course on the sacred land, that has been bulldozed, and be served drinks by little brown people ( usually from the Marshall Islands, Hawai’i locals have mostly left for minimum wage jobs in mainland America ).
Billionaires, like Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison, Jeff Bezos, and Oprah Winfrey, “own” huge chunks of the land.
Chinese billionaire, Eva Liu, has controlled the Punalu’u Black Sand beach, with a sweetheart deal ( $1 ), and is proposing erasing this natural landmark, spawning site of the endangered Saddleback Turtles, and building resorts there, in the name of “development”.
In 2022, the Hawai’ian people had a setback in court.
( Hawaiian Kingdom v. #Biden ; December 14, 2022 )Librarians have been instrumental, in manipulating minds, and pushing through these insidious #imperialist agendas, and disenfranchising and displacing the local people.

I would like to see a one-panel comic with #trans versions (have penis - does not have to be visible, just implied) of Ladies #Liberty and #Justice pissing on a grave with a tombstone that says "47" (Like those peeing Calvin stickers)
I lack the skill to create it. But if the idea tickles enough people, maybe I will get to see some variations.

Serious issues raised by Palestine Action decision
Decision by Court of Appeal raises serious issues about our rights
June 2026
The dreadful decision by the Appeal Court last week raises issues way beyond the matter of Palestine Action and whether or not they are terrorists. On 15 June they upheld the decision to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation. As Liberty has argued “This judgement risks paving the way for current and future governments to use counterterror powers against non-terrorist groups as we have seen in other countries, to silence activists, minorities and opponents.”
Amnesty say that prosecutors want to make an example of them and set a precedent for how direct action protestors could be treated in future. The decision will have a chilling effect on protest and will undoubtedly leave many people nervous of making their views known or attending vigils or marches.
Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the judgement was the statement made by the judges:
“It is not, as it claims, a direct action civil disobedience protest group like the suffragettes operating transparently in the open. It is a covert organisation that operates using secret cells to avoid the detection and prosecution of those using violence to destroy the property of third parties. Palestine Action’s activities have caused injury as well as property damage.“
It is hard to countenance that a group of supposedly learned judges should make a statement which is factually incorrect, historically naïve and verging on the bizarre. The suffragettes committed a large number of violent acts including damage to property, bombings and arson. They carried out these activities – about 300 all told – over many years. The number and extent of their actions far exceed those of Palestine Action. That judges of a senior court should be so misinformed is a worry.
Belfast and Southampton
Last week saw violence in Belfast and Southampton. Part of this was a series of organised attacks on houses containing refugees or immigrants. They were burnt out of their homes in acts of deliberate violence. The police came under sustained and violent attack. Despite the scale and nastiness of the attacks, there has been no question of using the terrorism word. The actions clearly fell into the definition of terrorism. Those who incited the violence are interviewed on media programmes.
In a previous post we commented on the attitude of successive governments towards the Gulf states and the double think involved. On the one hand talking in grand terms about a new world order, democracy and human rights, and on the other supplying arms and succour to a collection of brutal states which do the precise opposite. Where there is no democracy, women are second class citizens and certainly there are no human rights. Where our Royal family and others happily mingle with tyrants.
It is a looking glass world. Thousands have been arrested, many elderly, for protesting about the violence, destruction and genocide in Gaza and now in Lebanon. At least 73,000 have died in Gaza and thousands more wounded. Israel will not allow in heavy lifting equipment to help clear the rubble and retrieve bodies buried in it.

A quotation from Teddy Roosevelt
He had not learned that the majority in a democracy has no more right to tyrannize over a minority than, under a different system, the latter would have to oppress the former; and that, if there is a moral principle at stake, the saying that the voice of the people is the voice of God may be quite as untrue, and do quite as much mischief, as the old theory of the divine right of kings. The distinguishing feature of our American governmental system is the freedom of the individual; it is quite as important to prevent his being oppressed by many men as it is to save him from the tyranny of one.

A quotation from Bertrand Russell
Those who believe that the voice of the people is the voice of God may infer that any unusual opinion or peculiar taste is almost a form of impiety, and is to be viewed as a culpable rebellion against the legitimate authority of the herd. This will only be avoided if liberty is as much valued as democracy, and it is realized that a society in which each is the slave of all is only a little better than one in which each is the slave of a despot. There is equality where all are slaves, as well as where all are free. This shows that equality, by itself, is not enough to make a good society.

A quotation from Robert Ingersoll
Men are not superior by reason of the accidents of race or color. They are superior who have the best heart — the best brain. Superiority is born of honesty, of virtue, of charity, and above all, of the love of liberty. The superior man is the providence of the inferior. He is eyes for the blind, strength for the weak, and a shield for the defenseless. He stands erect by bending above the fallen. He rises by lifting others.

Now the bourgeois treasures nothing more highly than the self (rudimentary as his may be). And so at the cost of intensity, he achieves his own preservation and security. His harvest is a quiet mind which he prefers to being possessed by God, as he does comfort to pleasure, convenience to liberty, and a pleasant temperature to that deathly inner consuming fire. The bourgeois is consequently by nature a creature of weak impulses; anxious, fearful of giving himself away and easy to rule. Therefore, he has substituted majority for power, law for force, and the polling booth for responsibility.

RE: https://diaspo.it/posts/be8ba5b0d3c2013ed2ca0242ac140004Ezra Levin, co-founder of Indivisible, before introducing Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT), reflected on how Renee Good, by coming to the aid of her community during an ICE action in exercising her constitutional rights, was “shot in the face three times for it, and labeled a terrorist” to send a message to those protesting the “Fascist takeover of our government.”
Senator Murphy spoke against the hateful and divisive things happening in America and of how important our immigrant communities are in adding strength to the country along with their hard work and vast cultural and social reservoirs created by immigrants, adding to our unique American experience. “The United States Congress should not fund the Department of Homeland Security that is not obeying the laws of the United States of America,” he said. “They instead are in our cities to seek out confrontation and chaos.”
He accused Donald Trump of fomenting fear and division among Americans by “trying to convince us that immigrants are the greatest threat to our democracy, to disguise the fact that he [Trump] is the greatest threat to our democracy.”
Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA), a victim of ICE violence, was roughed up and handcuffed for attempting to enter a room during a news conference in Los Angeles last year to ask a question of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. “Imagine what they are doing when the cameras aren’t on in every corner of the country, if that’s how fearful this administration is with one person with a question. Imagine how fearful they are with gatherings like this.”
Padilla closed by referring to two bills he has authored. The Visible Act, S.2212 he introduced “To require all immigration enforcement officers to display visible identification during public-facing immigration enforcement actions and to promote transparency and accountability.”
And the Accountability for Federal Law Enforcement Act, S.2103, is a remedy for sovereign immunity under which “Victims of constitutional violations by federal law enforcement officers often have no legal means to seek justice because Congress has never passed a law allowing such lawsuits. Unlike state and local officers, who can be sued under a specific statute, federal officers face little accountability. This lack of remedies weakens the rule of law, erodes public trust, and fosters a sense that federal officers can violate rights without consequence.”
Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), who went to El Salvador’s notorious CECOT prison in seeking the release of his constituent Kilmar Abrego Garcia who was kidnapped by ICE, characterized Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller and JD Vance as “liars headed by the Liar in Chief, the Law Breaker in Chief Donald Trump.”
Going further, Van Hollen said that Trump had originally promised that ICE would only be “going after the worst of the worst” undocumented immigrants. That, instead, has become “One of the most lawless and obscene examples of this administration’s abuse against the people of this country,” he noted. “ICE’s own data shows that more than 80 percent of the people they are rounding up pose no public threat.” Once that was revealed, “ICE decided to get rid of the data. We are here to say, not in our country. We will not let this continue to happen.”

RE: https://diaspora.psyco.fr/posts/c3aec280b6ba013e88297054d219cb33Berlin: Police can secretly enter homes for state trojan installation
To collect data from IT systems, investigators in Berlin can secretly search suspects' rooms. This is in a Police Act amendment.
With the majority of the coalition of CDU and SPD, as well as the votes of the opposition AfD, the Berlin House of Representatives passed a comprehensive amendment to the General Security and Public Order Act (ASOG) on Thursday. The reform grants the police powers that deeply interfere with fundamental rights and cross previous red lines of the capital's security policy. While Interior Senator Iris Spranger (SPD) defends the law as a necessary update for the digital age and the fight against terrorism, critics see it as a disproportionate attack on privacy.
Law provides for massive tightening
A bone of contention is the combination of digital surveillance and physical intrusion: In order to monitor encrypted communication, investigators will in future, according to the Senate draft and the Änderungen der Abgeordneten, not only be allowed to hack IT systems but also to secretly enter suspects' apartments. The explosive innovation is hidden in paragraphs 26a and 26b. These regulate so-called source telecommunications surveillance (Quellen-TKÜ) and secret online searches. In order to intercept communication on devices such as smartphones or laptops before or after decryption, the police may use malware such as state Trojans.
But the new Police Act goes a step further: If remote installation of the spyware is technically not possible, paragraph 26 explicitly allows investigators to "secretly enter and search premises" in order to gain access to IT systems. In fact, Berlin is thus legalizing – as Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania did before – state intrusion into private apartments in order to physically install Trojans, for example via USB stick. IT security experts not only warn about leaving vulnerabilities open. They also see a constitutional violation in the combination of residential space violation and digital investigation.
Bodycams, mobile phone searches, and license plate scanning
This infringement on the inviolability of the home is accompanied by paragraph 24c, which newly regulates the use of bodycams. While their use was previously focused on public spaces, police forces are now allowed to activate the cameras in private homes and other non-public areas if there are concrete indications of a danger to life or limb. Although the legislator emphasizes the aspect of self-protection, opponents fear that this will lead to audiovisual surveillance in the most intimate retreat of citizens in practice.
Berlin is also technically upgrading in public spaces. With paragraph 26e, the cell tower query is being expanded. In the future, the police will be able to request traffic data from all mobile phones from network operators that were located in a defined cell tower area at a specific time. This enables the creation of movement profiles of thousands of innocent citizens through grid searches, who may have coincidentally been at a demonstration site.
In parallel, paragraph 24d creates the legal basis for the use of automatic license plate recognition systems. These scanners capture license plates in flowing traffic and compare them with wanted databases. Paragraph 24h also allows the use of technical means against unmanned systems such as drones, including taking over control.
Facial recognition and AI training
Another aspect that is met with criticism in expert circles is the introduction of paragraph 28a. This allows the police to perform biometric comparisons of faces and voices with publicly accessible data from the internet. This enables the police to conduct automated searches on social networks or photo platforms, for example with automated facial recognition, using material from video surveillance to identify individuals.
In addition, the new paragraph 42d allows the further processing of personal data for "training and testing of artificial intelligence systems." Thus, the representatives of the people create a legal basis for using real police data – such as images, videos, or text messages from investigations – for training AI algorithms. Data protectionists sharply criticize this, as AI models often allow conclusions to be drawn about the training data, and the purpose limitation of the originally collected data is greatly extended here.
Options for deprivation of liberty are also increasing. With the revised paragraph 33, the maximum duration of so-called preventive detention is extended from 48 hours to up to five days. In the case of imminent terrorist offenses, up to seven days are even possible. Politically, this tightening was discussed particularly in the context of the actions of the "Last Generation."
Protests from many sides
The opposition reacted with sharp rejection. They accuse Schwarz-Rot of carelessly sacrificing fundamental rights. Niklas Schrader (Die Linke) spoke of a "black day for civil liberties" in the debate. Vasili Franco (Greens) considers the amendment to be constitutionally highly risky. The Alliance NoASOG views the reform as an attack on civil society. The Society for Civil Rights (GFF) has announced that it will examine a constitutional complaint.
With this decision, Berlin joins the ranks of federal states that have massively tightened their police laws. However, the combination of the new instruments makes the Berlin package particularly far-reaching. The legislator has thus significantly lowered the hurdles for state access to digital and physical privacy. Berlin's data protection officer Meike Kamp described the legalization of the state trojan as a frontal attack on the IT security of all citizens in advance. She saw the sum of the measures as achieving a constitutionally highly questionable density of surveillance.

Without #Liberty there can be no Security!
Occupying Forces that fly one's flag and violate the #Constitution are truly enemy armies. It does not matter who the leadership is. What matters is the rule of law, not the egos of lawless thugs.
No thinking person is fooled. "Security" is a ruse. We know who they are, really. It is obvious that the root cause of troubled youth derives from the abuse perpetrated by the subsidized bullying operations known as "Public Safety" in that Orwellian parlance. The cabal of the Lodges and hate group gun clubs that act behind the scenes to insult lifetimes and violate the young are the source of youth disorder.
These gunmen and hosemen are essentially sadists, which is what government chomos really are, and every act of violence and fire was started by them so that the sheep think that they need this destructive protection racket. They enjoy torturing small things from an undisclosed location to remain unaccountable and irresponsible. It is a fact that the government gunmen murder the young and that they rape and sexually abuse them as well.
We have seen the court cases and know the facts. No one cares about video games; it's the cops and Nazis who are the instigators that lack all responsibility. Did first-person bows and arrows for subsistence hunting cause violence? No, endless immoral war and the government bullies did.
