I’ve never been part of the #LevyOut brigade. I’ve always stuck up for him.

But to sack Ange Postecoglou after all he’s done, under the exceptional circumstances within which he’s done it, is nothing short of mad.

And to try to frame it as being rational in the face of emotion is even more mad.

I finally withdraw my backing of Levy and the board.

I'm hoping he's just talking about the noise around a desire to lose this game from people inside the club and fans on the outside. I'm guessing he finds it unseemly and somewhat baffling.

If it's not that and instead it's something about Daniel Coys pulling the rug because no Champions League, then, well, the old #LevyOut hashtags will start being bandied about again soon enough. Not that it'll do any good.

Manager wanted player, player wanted to come, but then DL didn't want to pay fee but drag it for 9 days to save couple of millions just to accept initial fee to late. And I know for a fact that Ange doesn’t put up with that kind of low level show of support from a chairman. Levy needs to change and change quick if he wants Ange to stick around.

Lucrative for the business but shit for the football. Once more Daniel #LevyOut presides over a shambolic Spurs where profits are prioritised over winning something. A wasted pre-season. No CBs. Incessant, tedious noise about Kane. A weak transfer window. It’s all a portent of doom. I’m not feeling positive today, that’s for sure.
