Remembering when I worked at a military building as a server specialist. The guy that was already there spent every weekend rebuilding a server that would crash on Friday nights so that the higher ups had their emails on Monday morning. Anyways one week he took off for a vacation and a public servant was put in charge. She refused to come in on the weekend and instead let the server crash. By Wednesday of that week we had a brand new server and the old guy couldn’t believe it. He had been telling them for years this was happening but there was never any consequences therefore they never acted. Not sure why I thought of this.
