If we talk about early career academia, then predatory emails scare me less than bad teachers. Many of our teachers cooperate with #predators + #papermills themselves n teach this to their PhD students. How to free students from the clutches of such miserable teachers? The final scene from Scorsese's Taxi Driver 🎬 comes to mind... but seriously?
